For the Christian, there is one overruling factor which transcends the need to know. It is the fact that God is alive.

That may sound too simplistic, but for us to have the assurance that He is alive, and in control, removes the need to know about tomorrow. It removes the uncertainty, not because we have any more knowledge of the future, but because we know that in His sovereignty God holds our future and it is secure.

A Greater Purpose:

When my wife was diagnosed with cancer, my first thoughts were “Why you?” Yet when I mentioned it to her, her reply was “Why not me?” I had never thought of it that way. She was living out the concept that this diagnoisis was no surprise to God; therefore he must have a greater purpose in mind. As it happened, she was right. She experienced a miraculous healing which took place overnight, much to the amazement of the surgeon.
