Recently I read a disturbing story of a ten year old girl in India who works from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day rolling cigarettes. She is abused by the boss. Her sister, obviously younger stated, “I am not interested in going to school or playing, I want to get my sister away from the Bond-Man. He wants 600 rupees to release her.” That’s $14! How many of us would gladly give $14 to release a young girl from slavery – if we knew where and how to give, and that it would get to where we intended?
